Email Newsletter Marketing

Looking for an inexpensive way to generate a ton of qualified leads and earn more business from existing customers? A dynamic marketing method to consider is permission based email marketing. Email marketing, particularly electronic newsletters, is a great way to turn your prospects into customers, and your existing customers into lifetime supporters.

Four reasons to use email marketing:
  1. Its Inexpensive - An email campaign costs less that one fifth of a telemarketing campaign and there is no printing, materials or postage costs as with direct mail. Email marketing is 20 times more cost effective than direct mail, and can cost as little as fractions of a penny per email. The ROI is better too because you will reach your intended contact more often.
  2. Its Effective - Email marketing enables you to proactively communicate with your existing customers and prospects instead of passively waiting for them to return to your web site.
  3. Its Immediate - Email marketing generates an immediate response. The call to action is clear: “Click here to take advantage of this offer”, or “to learn more about this service”, or to “attend this event”. Initial campaign response generally occurs within 48 hours of the time the email campaign is sent.
  4. Its Measurable - You can monitor every aspect of your email campaign in real-time – who opened it, what links they clicked on within it, who responded, whose email was undeliverable and who unsubscribed.
Four of the most effective and popular ways to use email marketing:
  1. Special Offers - If you were to simply offer special discounts and coupons on your site, people would only know about them if they decided to pay your site a visit. But with email marketing, you can notify people every time you have a sale, or offer them discounts and coupons that will draw them back to your site.
  2. Invitations to events like seminars, conferences, and other special events are another type of highly effective email marketing. These types of offers can be very effective when sent using email. Repetition is extremely important; sending two invitations spaced apart before the event will increase the number of attendees. Clicking thru from the email directly to a web page that permits online registration or RSVP can up to double the percentage of recipients that register. Sending an emailed reminder to people who have registered for the event is a good way to minimize on "no-shows".
  3. Follow-up - Once you make a contact, it can take up to seven reminders or more before that person will purchase from you. Email marketing is the perfect way to send reminders and follow-up pitches without being annoying.
  4. Staying in Touch - With email marketing, you can send brief emails every couple of weeks or every month just to keep in touch with your customers. These emails can include anything from special offers to invitations to articles.
